The Zwiefel Law Firm provides assistance with all aspects of guardianship and conservatorship from court actions to administration. We can act in the capacity of conservator for adults who need these services but do not act as their case manager.

Today’s families and their elderly increasingly encounter legal and practical issues surrounding long term care and support. We assist clients in establishing guardianships and conservatorships to provide assistance to those who are unable to independently manage their financial and personal matters. By planning properly, we allow individuals to predetermine medical and financial decisions and thus alleviate the burden of difficult choices and anxiety for family members.

We achieve success when protections are put into place so that the disabled person’s needs, both personal and financial, are met for the rest of their lives.

Getting Started:

  1. Contact our firm for an appointment.
  2. Assemble information regarding your immediate family and those involved in the case such as names, addresses, and document information regarding the disability of the loved one.
  3. Meet with the attorney to review the information and discuss your specific needs.
  4. Fees are generally charged on an hourly basis plus court filing fees.
  5. Please note: Establishing conservator/guardianship requires a court hearing and takes a minimum of 2 months from the time of court filing.
